Benjamin Zander
Conductor, Boston Philharmonic Orchestra
Benjamin Zander has been the conductor of The Boston Philharmonic Orchestra for the past thirty years. He has been on the faculty of the New England Conservatory since 1965 and has taken the NEC Youth Philharmonic on thirteen international tours. He is also the Artistic Director of the Walnut Hill School, a high school for the performing arts. He will be the lead keynote speaker at the 2009 World Economic Forum in Davos, and has been profiled on CNN, 60 Minutes and the BBC, and in the New York Times, the London Times and the Wall Street Journal.
