Michael Burleigh SpeakerDr. Michael Burleigh is an historian, commentator on global affairs, and CEO-Co Founder of the company Sea Change Partners LLP, a firm which specialises in political analysis and bespoke work on specific sectors for City and international clients who include bulge bracket brokers and hedge funds. Michael has also advised governments on counter-terrorism legislation and is a member of HMG’s Senior Advisory Group on the Commemoration of WW1.

Michael has worked for almost 20 years as a senior academic, including at Oxford, LSE, Rutgers and Stanford. He has published 12 books (translated into 24 languages) on European and Global history from the 19th century to the present. In 2012 he won the prestigious Nonino International Master of His Time Prize for his lifetime’s work. He has also made 3 award winning TV documentaries. He has a BFI award, a NY Film and TV Festival Award and an Emmy. Since 2001 Michael has worked as a full-time commentator for The Daily Telegraph, Daily Mail, and Sunday Times. He specialises in informed analysis of global trouble spots.[/expand]
