“Chuck Hull is the genius behind 3D printing”
Chuck has a BS in engineering physics from University of Colorado, USA and an honorary doctorate in engineering from Loughborough University, UK. He was working at the manufacturer Ultra Violet Products where he helped develop the company’s ultraviolet-light curable resins, which were used to add protective coatings to furniture and other surfaces. Chuck began experimenting with laying down numerous coats of the resin to make plastic models and thus 3D printing was born. In 1983 he created the first 3D printer and has been refining it ever since.[/expand]
Chuck Hall is a pioneering innovator and the man responsible for a breakthrough that is now driving forward the world of manufacturing.
