Gurcharan Das is an author, venture capitalist, public intellectual and strategic consultant. He writes a regular column on Sundays for the Times of India and Dainik Bhaskar and occasional guest columns for the Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, and Time magazine. In 1995, after a 30-year career in six countries, he took early retirement to become a full time writer.
