Sarah has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Arkansas in Speech and Communication, with years of intercultural experience, as well as a nursing background.At the age of 23, Sarah found herself stuck in the normal routine of life, doing what she felt like she “should” be doing, instead of going after her truest dreams. Sarah moved to Spain without knowing a word of Spanish. With hard work and dedication, she learned the language from scratch, with the dream anddesire to be a public speaker.[/expand]

Youngest Person Ever to Sail Around The World
Laura Dekker is the youngest sailor who ever sailed solo around the globe. In August 2010, at the age of 14, Laura set sail from Gibraltar for her maiden voyage and embarked on what would become a record-breaking, 17 month journey. She successfully completed the solo circumnavigation in an 11.5-metre two-masted ketch, arriving in Simpson Bay, Sint Maarten, on 21 January 2012, having completed a solo circumnavigation at the age of 16 in 123 days.
